Define the task
Instead of trying to find everything, specify the association you need to check: whether a profile relates to a known contact or a record matches initial details. A narrow question is easier to evaluate without assumptions.
List initial facts
Separate confirmed, approximate and unknown details. Use the matching menu format. If only part of a profile is known, check the partial-data section rather than inventing missing values.
Set a limit for conclusions
Identify what independent support is still needed. One matching detail need not settle the question. If an essential check is unavailable, record the limitation rather than making a categorical identity claim.
